just a quickie...loved the way this turned out....did this a long time ago....but thought i would share. painted black- distressed with sander-added stain...dark walnut(key to distressing) added scrap paper to drawers with modge podge...then hobby lobby chunky hardware....still need to add a finish coat of poly....one of these days :)

Its been a long time!
whew...i am sure everyone has thought i fell off the face of the earth....but i am still around. lots of crazy things have happened since i posted last, but all for the good! if you have ever wondered why i have the title "the pursuit of happiness"...well....my absence just explains this... i had to evaluate my life...my status as a wife, mother, daughter, and friend. i have had enormous ups and downs, but i think i have it all figured out! if you have commented to me and i never replied....i am truly sorry. The computer has pretty much been last on my list lately. Its a crazy busy world out there and i have had to adjust myself in order to function. Yes, i have missed my blog friends...but this whole blog thing gets my head a whirling and i get all these creative ideas that i take a spin from and before ya know it i have 100 items on my to do list...as if my own creative mind isn't torture enough!!!! As you can see...i have been busy w quite a few projects...so eventually they may make there debut on here....until then!
